Apex Nutrition is a trading name of Hightech Hub NZ Limited (NZBN 9429051945534), a New Zealand based business. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information under the Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

  • Your name, email, phone number, and billing and delivery addresses.
  • Order details: what you buy, order history and any returns.
  • Messages you send us.
  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser type and how you use our website, collected through cookies.

How we use it

  • To process and deliver your orders, and to send order and tracking updates.
  • To answer your questions and handle returns.
  • To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.
  • To send marketing emails, only if you sign up. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

How we protect your payment card details

  • All card payments are processed by eWAY, our payment gateway, through a secure, PCI DSS compliant connection.
  • Card details are encrypted and sent directly to the payment gateway.
  • Apex Nutrition never sees, stores or keeps your full card number or security code (CVV).
  • Our website uses SSL encryption (https) on every page.
  • Online card payments use 3D Secure (Visa Secure and Mastercard Identity Check) to verify the cardholder.

How we protect your personal information

  • Your information is stored on Shopify's secure servers.
  • Access to customer information is limited to people who need it to fulfil your order.
  • We keep your information only as long as we need it for orders, legal and tax requirements.

Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with:

  • NZ Post, to deliver your order
  • our payment providers, to process payments
  • Shopify, our website platform, which may store data outside New Zealand under its own privacy protections

We never sell your personal information.

Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Contact us to make a request. If you're not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
